What fees do I pay for you to represent me?
Our clients (the employers) hire us to conduct searches for their roles on their behalf. This means, they pay us a fee, not you. So – it costs you nothing.
What is involved with signing up as a candidate with Boost Agents?
Depending on the role you’re being considered for, your meeting with us could consist only of an in person interview or it may also consist of a portfolio review and / or possible skills assessment testing. Your time at our office will typically take 1-2 hours, depending on the assessment required. We’ll always notify you in advance of our meeting as to how long you should expect to spend with us so that you can plan accordingly.
I’ve been invited to an interview with you. How do I prepare in advance?
Bring your portfolio (if necessary), your resume, three professional references (with email addresses and phone numbers), personal identification and evidence of your right to work in Canada (Driver’s License, Social Insurance Card, and / or passport. If you are looking for freelance work, bring a VOID cheque with you so we can set you up for automatic deposit.
I’m interested only in freelance. Is this a problem?
You’re more than welcome to join us. If your skill-set is in demand, we could keep you very busy.
